About 2 On The Roam.
The pavement ends where our true journey begins. We are trading the predictable rhythm of daily life for the raw, pulsing heartbeat of South America—five years, one rugged Toyota 4Runner, and an open road we’ve dubbed "The Grand Loop." This epic circuit will see us pushing south from Colombia through the high-altitude wonders of Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia, reaching the ends of the earth in Patagonia before swinging back north through the Atlantic coast, the Guyanas, and Venezuela. It is a deliberate, slow-burn immersion designed to circle an entire continent, culminating in a triumphant return to the colonial streets of Cartagena.
This isn’t just a drive; it’s a deep dive into the soul of a continent. We are here to trade our comfort zone for cultural connection, chasing the smoke of roadside grills, the silence of technical summits, and the vibrant, complex traditions that define this landscape. Whether we are navigating the rugged topography of the Andes or finding local rhythm in remote villages, our mission is to peel back the layers of South American life through every culinary, outdoor, and sensory experience we encounter. We’re documenting the grit, the glory, and the sheer joy of a five-year life experiment built on four wheels.

For the past 32 years, I’ve been living, breathing, and chasing the spirit of the outdoors. My roots are in adventure racing, mountain biking, and rock climbing—experiences that taught me how to navigate tough terrain and sharpened my eye for capturing amazing moments on film.
My journey has balanced the boardrooms and backroads. After moving to California at 24 and spending many years in the film industry, I eventually moved to Austin, Texas, where I built a significant foundation in Corporate America. That experience led me to transition into professional adventure photography and filmmaking. I've worked extensively with Climbing Magazine, produced a feature film for Arc'teryx, and collaborated with many outdoor brands.
While I loved the creative flow of that world, I ultimately stepped back into the corporate sector to provide the stability needed to fund my current passion: the "2ontheroam" adventure series.
I’ve called Bend, Oregon, home for the last 13 years, constantly chasing the next horizon. Now, I am channeling the same uncompromising standard of quality and professional rigor that defined my professional career and my work in adventure photography and film making into my digital projects, including my Instagram feed and this series. For me, this isn't just about documenting a journey; it’s about bringing that deep-rooted dedication, storytelling, and artistic vision to my personal work. I’m here to capture the raw, kinetic energy of the wild, and our authentic curiosity for all things Latin America. I truly hope to inspire others to step out into the wild.

My professional career began in the fast-paced world of New York City, where I spent 14 years navigating the complexities of Corporate America while living in Manhattan. While I grew up on Long Island, those years spent working in Manhattan were truly formative, teaching me the grit, strategy, and adaptability that define my approach to both work and life.
My personal journey took a wonderful turn when I met my husband, Jason, in Austin, Texas. We eventually found our way to Bend, Oregon, thirteen years ago, drawn by the incredible outdoor lifestyle that this region offers. Together, we’ve spent the last 15 years building a life full of shared goals and adventures.
Now, I am thrilled to step into this new chapter as an integral part of 2ontheroam. If you find yourself staring at the back of my head while we’re out on the trail, don’t be surprised—I’ll be the one leading the way, eager to see what’s around the next turn. I can’t wait to share this journey with you.
